  1. Hong Kong starts a mandatory two+week quarantine for anyone arriving from mainland China in order to stop the new Coronavirus from spreading. 
  2. Pakistan is considering a proposal for allowing Indian pilgrims to enter the Kartarpur corridor without passport to attract more visitors to Gurudwara Darbar Sahib.

  1. Exit polls predicts a big victory for CM Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party. 
  2. The Mumbai police in a joint operation with Military Intelligence of J&K have busted two illegal VoIP exchanges and it is suspected to have ISI link.

    1. Female voters have again outnumbered their male counterparts in the Mizoram electoral roll published recently. 
    2. The first Hornbill Festival of Tripura began on Saturday in Bormura Hill(renamed Hathai Kotor-meaning big hill in Kokborok language), Khowai district. 
    3. A mature female Royal Bengal Tiger with two cubs has been seen in Laokhowa-Burachapori wildlife Sanctuary( a part of Kaziranga Tiger Reserve )which shows improved corridor connectivity between the forest areas.
